We're pleased to introduce our first Sustainability Review.

The Castlefield Funds Sustainability Review 2023 includes an independent analysis of the ESG performance of our sustainable fund range (compared against respective peers) and a breakdown of the positive theme allocation for each fund.

The report also includes specific case examples of typical holdings, showcasing how our positive themes and authentic investment approach work in practice.

We're pleased to publish our first Sustainability Review – providing investors with detailed information on key ESG performance metrics for our sustainable fund range.

Alongside an independent analysis of funds (from leading impact consultants Impact Cubed), the report also details the net zero commitments for portfolio holdings – which has been a key focus of the team's engagement over recent months.

Case studies are used to illustrate some of the key themes, and help to demonstrate the typical holdings found within our sustainable funds. 

Compared to mainstream benchmarks, the report shows that funds within the Castlefield Sustainable Fund Range have lower environmental impacts and lower exposure to industries that are socially and environmentally damaging (i.e. tobacco, gambling, mining).

Additionally, Castlefield's sustainable funds have a higher proportion of assets invested in sustainable industries than their respective peers (i.e. renewable energy, education).

In the interests of transparency, the report highlights areas of outperformance and underperformance.
