Castlefield awarded FRC Tier 1 status

The Financial Reporting Council, the UK body that promotes business integrity and transparency, has categorised Castlefield Investment Partners as a Tier 1 signatory to the UK Stewardship Code.

The Code has been adopted by almost 300 financial services firms and provides guidance to investors on exercising voting rights, engaging with companies, working collaboratively with other shareholders and reporting transparently.

We are delighted that Castlefield now sits in the top group of signatories. All signatories must publish a statement outlining how they meet the Code’s guidelines. Tier 1 status is awarded to organisations that publish a “good quality and transparent description of their approach to stewardship”. Our statement is available here.
